Black Mask is a movie about a super soldier created (along with others) to be a supreme fighting machine.

Li plays a test subject with super human abilities that feels no pain, who has escaped his training and now lives a life in peace as a librarian and has a tough cop as his best friend.

When a string of vicious murders are discovered to have been caused by his former super soldier training partners, Li's character Michael dons a black mask to protect his identity and teams up with his cop buddy to help stop them.

However; the plot isn't so important, it's the amazing and at times ridiculous action we're interested in.

The fight scenes were choreographed by action scene extraordinaire Yuen Woo Ping, who also did the fights in The Matrix.

Jet Li's action scenes are incredible and he pulls off moves that look as super human as the character he plays.

In addition to the choreography, there are some gruesome scenes with severed limbs and decapitations. Fewer gun battles, and more of Jet Li's martial arts prowess would have been preferred, but this movie still delivers unbelievable action.
