Dragon Fight stars Jet Li as part of the touring Chinese National Wushu Team who are leaving America after a successful tour.

At the airport after the show, one of the members of Jet Li's group kills a policeman to try and start a more successful life in the US. Li's character is mistakenly arrested for the crime. He escapes and meets up with a humorous delivery driver and begins his journey in trying get back to China.

At the end of the movie Jet Li's character takes on a whole group of fighters who have various weapons. Jet Li shows off his array of skills as he fights the gang.
